Allergy Friendly School
Theodore Primary School is an allergy friendly school, as some of our students have severe allergies to certain products, such as nuts. Please do not send food items such as nuts, peanut butter, snacks containing peanuts or Nutella sandwiches to school.
If you have any concerns or questions about this policy please contact the school on 02 6142 3100.
Communication between school and home is highly valued. Parents are asked to make an appointment for any discussion with the Principal, Deputy Principal, School Psychologist or teachers via the front office on 6142 3100.
An appointment will be arranged at the earliest possible time and attention will be given immediately to urgent issues.
Whole school assemblies are held fortnightly on Fridays at 12.20pm in the school hall. Assemblies are a celebration of student learning.
Each class is rostered throughout the term to present items. These dates are set at the beginning of term and are available on the term calendar and school website calendar. http://www.theops.act.edu.au/calendar
We warmly welcome parents, grandparents, and carers to all our assemblies. Parents of students who receive special awards are contacted prior to assembly to enable attendance at the assembly.
'Principal Values Awards' are presented at assemblies, to students who have earnt 5 values awards at unit assemblies.
