Welcome to Theodore Preschool.  In the Preschool we have two classes, the Possums and Koalas.

The classroom teacher is Susie Tebb and her assistant is Tracy Richmond. 

At Theodore Preschool our emphasis is on play-based learning.  Through play the students are able to explore and extend their knowledge and understanding about the world around them.  We are very child-centred, believing the best learning comes from those experiences that are meaningful to the child, therefore learning activities for students during 'Investigations' are developed using their interests and ideas.  To stimulate learning we provide a range of experiences that take into account each child's skills.  We do this by using a variety of teaching and learning experiences for inside and outside, incorporating guided learning tasks as well as opportunities for individual exploration and expression.

In the preschool the process of building a caring and secure learning culture is supported by students and teachers through the Tribes Community Agreements of; mutual respect, appreciation/no put downs, the right to pass - the right to participate, attentive listening and personal best and personal responsibility.
