At Theodore Primary School we have a specialised Science teacher and a dedicated science area.
Our Science teacher provides opportunities for our students to develop an understanding of science concepts and the processes and practices used to develop scientific knowledge, the contribution to our culture and society and its daily applications in our lives. The curriculum supports students to develop the scientific knowledge, understanding and skills to make informed decisions about local, national and global issues and to participate, if they so wish, in science-related careers. Our students enjoy a balance of hands-on experimentation as well as the recording and critical analysis of results and questions.
