Evacuation and Lock Down Drill
Fire and evacuation and lock-down drills are necessary for the safety of all those within the building. Students are advised of the proper procedures during these drills. The drills will be conducted each term to ensure all are familiar with the routine. Please follow all procedures and requests by staff when visiting the school during an evacuation.
Excursions and Camps
Educational excursions and camps are planned for students as an important part of the learning process throughout the school year. These excursions enhance our learning programs and provide students with opportunities to build positive relationships with their classmates and teachers. Permission notes will be sent home to notify parents/carers of these events. Some excursions and camps require medical and dietary information to be provided for each student. Full school uniform, including broad brimmed hats, must be worn on all excursions.
If parents/carers have difficulty meeting the cost of an excursion please discuss this further with the Principal.
Extra-Curricular Activites
There are a number of extra-curricular activities offered to students at Theodore. These may include:
- Year 5 and 6 Ukulele band
- Interschool Sports Days (3-6)
- Lunch time clubs
