Students in Yrs 1/2 learn English and Maths via a structured program which encompasses modelling by the teacher as well as independent learning tasks. Reading, writing, spelling and oral language form part of the daily English program. Maths is a blend of explicit teaching, hands on investigations and building an understanding of the strategies efficient Mathematicians use.
