At Theodore Primary School we prioritise providing all students with personalised learning experiences that are targeted at their individual point of need. Our goal is for every student to achieve their personal best and experience both academic and social success.
We plan innovative experiences for children where the learning skills of being a collaborator, communicator, thinker, self-manager and researcher are embedded in all that we do. Using student learning data, the Australian Curriculum, Early Years Learning Framework and evidence-informed practices, our teaching teams work collaboratively in Professional Learning Teams (PLTs) to design personalised learning programs.
At Theodore Primary School, we recognise that students’ families are their first teachers. We highly value building positive and collaborative partnerships with all families with the objective of supporting their child/ren to reach their personal best. At our school we are Safe, Respectful Learners and actively use Positive Behaviours for Learning (PBL) to provide students with explicit guidance in their development of social skills. We provide a nurturing and engaging environment where students feel safe, included and inspired.
