It takes a village to raise a child and I am dedicated to collaboratively raising the children of Theodore Primary School with their families, teachers and support staff to ensure they are engaged in quality learning everyday in a safe and respectful environment. We are committed to a whole school approach to Positive Behaviours for Learning (PBL) where everyone – students, staff and families have the responsibility and the right to be safe, respectful learners.
The staff at Theodore PS are part of a Professional Learning Team (PLT). Working collaboratively as a PLT provides teachers with research based opportunities for continuous improvement and life-long learning. Our school caters for individual student needs through differentiated learning and support. This begins in our preschool where the teachers work with the Early Years Learning framework to provide a welcoming place of learning, nurturing and inquiry. We work closely with our School Board and P & C as well as community agencies to provide a holistic approach to student learning and wellbeing.
