Band
Band is an extra-curricular activity available to Year 5 and 6 students. Students and parents have the opportunity to sign up for band early in Term 1 each year. The Year 5 and 6 bands are ukulele bands. The music teacher from the Instrumental Music Program (IMP) visits twice a week for structured band lessons. Teachers from the Year 5/6 unit manage the bands, organise and supervise early morning band rehearsals as well as manage and coordinate combined band excursions.
Before and After School Care
Theodore Primary School Before and After School Program is run by Communities @ Work.

Students are provided with a safe and secure meeting place where they can mix with friends and enjoy developmentally appropriate activities and active sports. Nutritious afternoon tea is provided each afternoon.

Bicycles and Scooters
Students riding bicycles and scooters to school should wear a correctly fitted helmet. Students are not allowed to ride bicycles or scooters within school grounds. Bicycles and scooters should be dismounted and walked to the bike racks located behind Yackatoon Unit. Students should then carefully secure their bicycles or scooters, as the school is not responsible for missing, broken or stolen items.
Book Packs and School Supplies
Order forms are sent home the year before. Families who order and pay for book packs will receive their packs during the first week back to school in Term 1. Families who pay and order their packs in Term 1 will receive their packs two weeks later. Students who haven't received their packs will be supplied with a lead pencil and an exercise book in the interim.
Bus Services
The ACTION bus services pick up and drop off at the front of our school.
